Located at the intersection of the 44 degrees N Parallel with the 25 degrees E Meridian, the Teleorman county is located in the Southern part, in the center of the Romanian Plain, being surrounded by Arges and Dambovita Counties in the North , Giurgiu in the East and Olt in the West, and in the South by the Danube, which constitutes Romania's border with Bulgaria on about 90 Km.
